ImpactGuardarrama has previously started 24 of FIU's last 25 games and was leading a deep rotation in rebounding (4.2 rpg) prior to suffering the injury. He was seen leaving the arena last Thursday with a walking boot and crutches, so it's not too surprising to see him sit out just two days later. In his stead Saturday, Dashon Gittens drew the start but logged just 12 minutes, while John Williams saw an expanded role off the bench. Guardarrama's next chance to take the court will be Saturday at MTSU.
