Maizen Fausett - Helps Southern Utah to semifinals of CBIFausett finished Monday's 81-79 victory over Rice with 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes.

ImpactFausett was just one board shy of a double-double in the quarterfinals of the CBI. Fausett and Jason Spurgin make quite the frontcourt duo and they will hope to continue that throughout the remainder of this tournament. Fausett is averaging 13.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.1 three-pointers over the last seven games.

ImpactSpurgin is in the middle of a very strong stretch of games. The 6-11 redshirt sophomore is putting up 14.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks over the last six games. Southern Utah will need Spurgin to continue to be a force in the paint if they hope to take home the CBI Championship. Eastern Kentucky will be up next on Tuesday.

The fifth-year senior who started his career with Illinois is have a terrific season averaging 17.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.3 three-pointers per contest. Jones will look to continue his high level production in the semifinals on Tuesday against Eastern Kentucky.
