Hot shooting at VandyFrancis led the Spiders with 21 points (7-12 FT, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), adding four assists and three rebounds Wednesday at Vanderbilt.
ImpactFrancis chipped in peripherally, as he's a known scorer mainly. He's hoisted at least 11 shots in every game to date, and has topped two assists just twice at this point, further showing his lack of diversified stats. He's a fun player to watch, but far more valuable to his team than fantasy lineups.

Six steals at VandyGilyard had eight points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT) two rebounds, five assists and six steals Wednesday at Vanderbilt.
ImpactGilyard is on a ridiculous theft heater, averaging a whopping 4.5 per game through six, with a season-low of three. He's got his eyes set on the collegiate record (385), which he'll still need 82 more of, a tall ask. But he's currently feasting on opponents not buying into scouting reports. He'll cool off in conference against known competition, but he also couldn't shoot much worse (38.2 percent). Gilyard remains a top-tier guard and a joy to watch nightly.

Returns and dominatesWright posted 17 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and one assist during Wednesday's loss to Richmond.
ImpactWright returned to the court following a scratch in Sunday's win over Mississippi Valley State and dominated off the bench. The sophomore guard's 17 points were the most he has scored in an outing since last season against Tennessee when he dropped a career-best 23 points.
