Will play vs. St. Francis (PA) Lindo (undisclosed) has been cleared to play in Tuesday night's season opener against St. Francis (PA), Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Both Lindo and teammate Joe Bamisile sat out George Washington's only exhibition contest for reasons not specified, but both will be on the floor for opening night. Lindo was incredible effective for the Colonials last season after finally making his debut Jan. 13. He started the final seven games of the year and averaged a double-double with 11.4 points and 10.7 rebounds.

DNP in exhibition Lindo (undisclosed) did not take the court in Monday's exhibition against Hood.

Impact According to Patrick Stevens of the Washington Post, Lindo has been dealing with an injury through much of the preseason, but few details are known. He still expects to play a big role given he was one of George Washington's representatives at A10 media day, but whether he's ready for the season opener Nov. 9 against St. Francis (PA) remains to be seen.

Third double-double Lindo had 12 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 14 rebounds and two blocks across 40 minutes in Wednesday's 63-58 loss to George Mason.

Impact The Colonials have only played in four games since Lindo became eligible, but the junior forward has recorded double-doubles in three of those contests. He's taken a massive leap in both playing time and production since his Maryland days and is worth keeping on the fantasy radar for formats that use the Atlantic 10 conference.

Effective in GW debut Lindo had 13 points (6-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 12 rebounds and five steals in his season debut Wednesday, an 84-77 loss to George Washington.

Impact Lindo is in his first year with the George Washington program after two seasons at Maryland, and despite the NCAA granting a blanket waiver for all transfers in December, it was initially thought he would spend this season on the sidelines. A change of heart occurred somewhere along the line, however, allowing Lindo to start immediately in his debut and be a key contributor. It's been a rocky road for the 3-8 Colonials, but Lindo's presence certainly gives things a boost.
