Impact Cole by far had his best performance of the season. The guard played off the bench for the second straight game and managed to lead the team in points. He had just missed out on his first double-double as well. Cole was the most efficient shooter from the floor and could see a potential return to the starting rotation with this performance.

Impact Cole joined the rest of the team in a mediocre shooting performance in the loss Monday. The guard still set a new season-high in points (18), but he did shoot an underwhelming 43 percent. He also did not produce much else outside of his shooting game and will need to show more production overall to be considered.

The junior point guard has started every game this season and leads UConn with a 4.8 apg average. Expectations should be lowered a bit due to the eventual return of leading scorer James Bouknight (20.3 ppg), who could be back after a week-long break when UConn draws St. John's on Jan. 18.
