Ankle issue Coach Brad Brownell said that Godfrey has battled an ankle injury in fall camp, Jon Blau of The Post and Courier reports.

Impact Godfrey is one of a handful of Clemson players that have been working through injuries in fall camp. It's unclear if it will end up costing him any games to start the season. Godfrey is expected to be primarily a bench player who shouldn't get a ton of minutes when the roster is fully healthy. Clemson plays on exhibition game on Nov. 1 before their regular season starts on Nov. 6 against Winthrop.
