Impact Smith participating in Colorado's latest exhibition gives the Buffaloes a depth piece from their 2023-24 season, during which he averaged 2.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 11.9 minutes across seven games. They included him serving as a key rotation piece before he went down with injury and will look to reclaim his previous role at the least.

Will not return this year Head coach Tad Boyle confirmed that Smith (lower leg) will not return this season, Oliver Hayes of Sko Buffs Sports reports.

Impact Smith has not appeared in a game since Nov. 29 and now his injury will sideline him throughout the remainder of the season. The 6-3 freshman played in seven games, averaging 2.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per contest. He'll look to get right and play his way into a rotational role for the 2024-25 campaign.
