Likely out a few more weeks Avila (ankle) is next expected to return in the month of November, Stu Durando of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Impact Avila, who suffered an ankle sprain in SLU's season opener, has yet to return to practice, and is not expected to return prior to December 2nd, according to head coach Josh Schertz. The 6-foot-10 junior was a sensation for the Billikens last season, averaging 17.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 0.7 steals across 37 starts. Avila's status will continue to be monitored and Kalu Anya (illness) is his projected replacement in the meantime.
