Minimal impact against Iowa Beran supplied zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one block over eight minutes during Monday's 82-61 loss to Iowa. Impact Beran had a season-low eight minutes during Monday's blowout loss, and coach Chris Collins revealed after the game that several players recently dealt with a flu bug, Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register reports. While Collins didn't specifically state that Beran was one of the players who dealt with the issue, the fatigue from the illness would provide an explanation for his decreased playing time. It was encouraging that he was able to log some minutes, and he'll have time to recover prior to Sunday's regular-season finale against Minnesota. However, Beran has had a limited impact recently and has scored in double figures in just one of his last eight appearances.
