23 points not enough in OT loss Conwell posted 23 points (9-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 41 minutes during Wednesday's 94-89 OT loss to UConn.

Impact Conwell came up big for the Musketeers to help propel the squad into overtime against the tough Huskies squad. Though UConn ended up grabbing the win, the 6-foot-4 guard's performance was very impressive especially as he scored a season-high 23 points. The junior was on the court for the longest out of all of Xavier's team, and his efforts should be utilized once again at a less tough Connecticut matchup next Wednesday.

Impact Conwell was the leading scorer for the Musketeers in the big loss, though he registered a season-high three turnovers. The junior guard has scored double-digit points in every game so far this season and he leads the team in points per game. He's now averaging 17.6 points and 1.6 steals across seven games on the year.
