Efficient in second exhibition Griffen went for 14 points (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and a block in Tuesday's exhibition win over Washburn. Impact Griffen sat out of the team's first exhibition game against Arkansas last week, but came off the bench and provided an impact with his deadly shooting ability. Shooting was a big issue for Kansas last season, but the addition of Griffen will certainly help them to keep the floor spaced. He came off the bench in this game and only played 16 minutes, but he has a very real opportunity to start at some point as long as he stays locked in on the defensive side of the ball. The Jayhawks will open the regular season on Monday against Howard.
