ImpactCoach Will Wade did say that O'Neal is fine, but did not go into detail on what specifically was holding him out of action. His absence coincided with Trendon Watford sitting the game out with a leg injury, but the LSU frontcourt did get a boost with Josh LeBlanc making his season debut. Look for O'Neal and LeBlanc to battle for a similar role once O'Neal is cleared to return, but with little information available on that situation, it's unclear if O'Neal will be ready for Wednesday's showdown against New Orleans. The 6-10 sophomore had just been gaining momentum too, playing a season high 20 minutes in his most recent contest Dec. 6 against Louisiana Tech.
