Junior Ballard - Small role in season debutBallard (lower leg) finished with no counting stats in four minutes during Wednesday's 63-43 victory over San Diego.
ImpactBallard had been sidelined six games due to injury, but he was able to return in what ended up being a 20-point blowout in favor of the 6-1 Bulldogs. Considering he started 19 of a possible 23 games last season, while averaging 7.2 ppg across 25.3 mpg, this is likely just a start for the senior guard. He should see his role expand as he gets back into game shape.

Terrell Brown - Sits out as Toreros fallBrown (undisclosed) did not take the court in Wednesday's 63-43 loss to Fresno State.
ImpactNot to be confused with the Washington guard, San Diego's Brown is a fifth-year forward that transferred from Pittsburgh and does most of his work in the paint. He had started each of the previous eight contests, setting a pace for what would be career highs in scoring (8.0 ppg), rebounding (8.4 rpg) and blocks (3.5 bpg). In his absence, Vladimir Pinchuk drew the start and produced 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting. It's unclear if Brown will be back for Sunday's matchup against Cal Poly.

Vladimir Pinchuk - Plays well in first startPinchuk provided 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-4 FT), two rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 63-43 loss to Fresno State.
ImpactPinchuk received the starting nod in the absence of Terrell Brown and responded with a team-high 11 points. The 6-11 center was only able to grab a pair of rebounds, however, as San Diego was dominated 32-22 on the glass. Pinchuk has played a minor role in the offense for the most part but is shooting 56 percent from the floor when called upon.

Jemarl Baker - Not expected to go WednesdayBaker (knee) is not expected to play in Wednesday's game against San Diego, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ImpactBaker is looking at missing his fourth straight game with a knee injury. There has been no indication on how much longer the Fresno State guard will be out for. Their next game will be Saturday against Cal State-Northridge.

Orlando Robinson - Leads team in scoringRobinson posted 25 points (9-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-8 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, four blocks and one steal over 38 minutes during Sunday's 65-57 loss to California.
ImpactIn his second season as a starter for the Bulldogs, Robinson has emerged as a consistent scorer in the teams offense. Robinson has scored at least 16 points in every game this season, scoring 20 or more points in back-to-back games. Robinson leads the Bulldogs in points, rebounds, assists and blocks per-game this season, expect the junior forward to continue filling the stat sheet this season.
