First action since Dec. 9 Ofoegbu had five points (1-2 FG, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and a steal across 17 minutes off the bench in Monday's loss to San Diego. Impact Ofoegbu suffered an injury just three minutes into the team's season opener back in December, and Monday represented his first live game action since. According to San Jose State broadcaster Justin Allegri, circumstances would have normally led to a redshirt season, but with the NCAA not counting 2020-21 as a year of eligibility, the Spartans will use the final stretch of the season to help the forward develop. He'll look to compete for the starting job he previously held should be a key part of the program moving forward.
