Impact Ciani was an inconsistent but relevant component of Xavier's frontcourt off the bench throughout the team's first 26 contest this season, delivering 3.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per contest. The 6-foot-9 big will likely be viewed as a toolsy project once he gets healthy.

Impact Ciani has his first DNP of Xavier's 2023-24 season. According to Adam Baum of The Cincinnati Enquirer, Ciani suffered a leg injury during Xavier's previous game. There is at least a chance Ciani's leg injury is what caused his recent DNP.
