New opponent in placeMamukelashvili and the Pirates are expected to host Iona on Monday as a replacement game for the one they had canceled against St. Joseph's, Adam Zagoria of nj.com reports.
ImpactThe game is reportedly all but happening barring any last-minute positive COVID tests. Head coach Kevin Willard and Iona head coach Rick Pitino reportedly talked over the phone Saturday and verbally agreed to have the game. The time of the game has yet to be confirmed but it should be another successful day for Mamukelashvili against a much weaker opponent.

ImpactMamukelashvili paced the Pirates with 22 points and 10 rebounds in their one-point loss to Louisville on Friday. The senior forward will now have to wait a few extra days to try and lead the team to their first win this season as they aren't scheduled to play until Wednesday against Rhode Island.
