ImpactAs expected, Hawkins will miss his third straight game with a concussion. The 6-foot-5 freshman has appeared in 27 games this season, averaging 5.8 points, two rebounds, 0.3 steals and 0.3 blocks on 14.7 minutes per game. Jalen Gaffney is likely to be relied upon in his absence.

Tyler Polley - Operates off bench ThursdayPolley (illness) ended Thursday's 62-52 win over Seton Hall with six points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 16 minutes.
ImpactPolley, who had been dealing with an illness, was able to suit Thursday, but he returned to his usual bench role after drawing the start on Senior Day against DePaul in Connecticut's previous matchup. He'll likely see a similar role during Friday's semifinal matchup against Villanova.

Jordan Hawkins - Unlikely to play until next weekAccording to head coach Dan Hurley, Hawkins (concussion) isn't likely to play in the Big East Tournament, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
ImpactHawkins still hasn't been officially ruled out, but when Hurley was asked about the prospect of Hawkins returning during the conference tournament, he replied, "it's going to be tough." All signs point to the freshman remaining sidelined for Friday's semifinal matchup with Villanova. In the meantime, Jalen Gaffney and Tyler Polley should continue to see extra minutes off the bench until Hawkins is cleared.
