ImpactMorman was expected to be a reserve big man for the Golden Eagles, but his immediate eligibility was unclear after he appeared in two games for Wyoming last season. It appears his waiver request has been granted, and he'll be cleared to continue in a similar capacity.

ImpactJames was barely getting run as a reserve for Xavier, so he elected to transfer after two years with the program. In a normal year, NCAA rules might dictate a season on the sidelines, but it appears the 6-8 forward has been granted a waiver for immediate eligibility. James ended up taking more shots than any Jacksonville starter in the opener, in addition to being the leading three-point shooter. It appears he'll get the heavy usage he was presumably looking for upon entering the transfer portal.
