AJ Storr - Career day in defeatStorr posted 23 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 104-76 loss to Creighton.
ImpactWhile St. John's was no match for Creighton on Wednesday on either end of the court, Storr's performance represents the most positive takeaway. He had his career-best scoring total before the first half came to a close and finished with his most minutes played all season. The 6-6 freshman shooting guard has now started five consecutive games for the Red Storm and absolutely looks the part of a mainstay in the starting lineup moving forward.

Joel Soriano - Double-double streak snappedSoriano posted 18 points (7-11 FG, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 104-76 loss to Creighton.
ImpactSoriano was largely outplayed by Creighton's Ryan Kalkbrenner in this one and had to deal with some early foul trouble as well. Most of his production in this lopsided affair came with the game already well in hand, but it still wasn't enough for Soriano to log his seventh consecutive double-double. Still, that shouldn't diminish what's been an incredible senior season in which he's posted averages of 16.5 points and 12.1 rebounds.

Rafael Pinzon - Unimpressive across game startedPinzon totaled three points (1-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across 19 minutes during Wednesday's 104-76 loss to Creighton.
ImpactPinzon has two games started across St. John's 2022-23 season. Unfortunately for him, he logged limited time and played unimpressive basketball during both instances. Pinzon recorded six points and two assists across 36 minutes total.

Posh Alexander - Out with ankle issueAlexander (ankle) won't go Wednesday night for St. Johns as they travel to Creighton.
ImpactAlexander reportedly has a left ankle sprain, and will thus miss the Red Storm's clash with Creighton. The point guard has been a consistently available player for St. John's, albeit with some statistical regression from his sophomore year. His next chance to take the court will come against Georgetown next Sunday in Queens.

Rafael Pinzon - Enters starting fivePinzon is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Creighton.
ImpactPinzon will make his second start of the year and his first since Dec. 10 with head coach Mike Anderson opting to put out a different-looking starting lineup than usual. The 6-6 sophomore rattled off three straight games with double-digit points before putting up a goose egg last weekend versus Villanova. He'll look to return to form and help the Red Storm get back on track after dropping their last game versus the Wildcats.

O'Mar Stanley - Not starting WednesdayStanley isn't in St. Johns' starting five Wednesday night against Creighton.
ImpactStanley has been an on-and-off starter this season, but has started five of St. Johns' last six. He'll return to the bench Wednesday night, likely as a lineup tinker as the Red Storm tries to find its groove.
