Michael O'Connell has received a big boost in playing time with Wills sidelined, starting the past three contests and averaging 6.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals over 32.7 minutes per game across that span. It's unclear when Wills might return, but his next opportunity comes Thursday against USC.

Impact Davis returned to the lineup after missing the last five games due a leg injury, and he led the team in points and steals while posting a season-high 11 free throw attempts. He did come off the bench for the first time in the defeat, but Davis was likely just being eased back. It was the first time this season that he's fouled out of a game.
