ImpactJones was one of the lone bright spots for Stanford in a crushing defeat to Baylor, coming up just two rebounds shy of what would've been his first career double-double. Jones' 10 points tied a team high, but he only logged 23 minutes with increased playing time going to the bench. The third-year starter for the Cardinal is primarily being used in his traditional role of a three-point specialist.

LJ Cryer - Leads the way in first startCryer posted a game-high 21 points (8-12 FG, 5-9 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, and a steal in the win over Stanford on Saturday.

ImpactCryer got his first start of the season in place of Adam Flagler (hand). He continued to prove to coach Scott Drew that he deserves a lot of playing time each night. Cryer is now averaging 18.5 points, 3.5 three-pointers, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest. It's going to be extremely hard to keep him out of the starting five even with Flagler returns healthy if Cryer keeps producing like this.

ImpactAkinjo was excellent as a distributor in what was really a dominant showing even without Adam Flagler (hand). LJ Cryer has been a terrific guard option off the bench to go alongside Kendall Brown and Flagler. Baylor's rotation is pretty deep at the moment, but as conference play approaches Akinjo should see a more high volume of minutes and scoring opportunities.
