Impact Clark started the first 15 games of the season at power forward for South Carolina, but came off the bench last Saturday and was now held out entirely. There's no word of an injury to the Citadel transfer, though there was a report from a local FOX station (WACH) that suggested Clark went to head coach Lamont Paris and told him Collin Murray-Boyles deserves to start over him. That's been exactly the case over the last two games, with Clark only seeing nine minutes total and the Gamecocks posting a 1-1 record in that span. South Carolina took advantage of a relatively soft non-conference schedule to begin the season with a 13-1 record, but has now dropped two of three in conference play.
