Impact Ashworth's 6-foot stature didn't hinder him from getting boards against Butler, as he registered a season-high 12 rebounds and his first double-double of the campaign. The senior guard was unable to get going from behind the arc with just one of his eight three-point attempts going in, but he still did put together a solid 22 points. His efforts as the Bluejays' facilitator will especially be needed this upcoming Tuesday against Providence.

Impact The Blue Jays overall couldn't get much going against the Hoyas, but Ashworth provided just about the only consistent offensive production for the team. Even though he led Creighton with 21 points, his three pointers really weren't falling even with five going in. The senior guard has now scored 17 or more points in his last four outings, and he'll look to still stay solid offensively as the squad looks to bounce back versus Villanova on Saturday.

Although the Bluejays weren't able to sneak out the win in the end, it is promising that the point guard was back and healthy. The senior is now averaging 15.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists. He'll be relied on heavily as Creighton hopes to stay competitive in the next few outings, especially against Kansas on Dec. 4.

The fifth-year guard should be relied on heavily for his scoring abilities with the Bluejays this season alongside dominant big-man Ryan Kalkbrenner who is also returning for a fith year. Ashworth will need to shoot better from the floor than he did against the Vaqueros; though, if Creighton hopes to beat tough Big East opponents that will follow as the season develops.

Ashworth and Isaacs should absorb most of the production vacated by Baylor Scheierman and Trey Alexander. Both Ashworth and Isaacs are capable ball distributors and can make shots at will from the perimeter. They will be a hard team to stop with Ryan Kalkbrenner controlling the paint.
