Impact The nature of the back issue is unclear, but Clarke will miss Monday's season opener against Florida and probably some additional games as he works his way back to full health. The grad transfer averaged 16.0 points, 4.1 assists and 1.7 rebounds per contest last season with Sacred Heart, so he'll look to make his 2022-23 debut once the back issue is resolved.

Dean Noll - Ruled out for season Noll won't play during the 2022-23 season as he recovers from a torn ACL, Jeff Goodman of Stadium reports.
Impact After transferring to Stony Brook from Cornell in April, Noll was going to be immediately eligible to play in 2022-23 as a graduate transfer. However, it appears the guard sustained a torn ACL prior to the start of the regular season, so he'll miss the upcoming campaign as a result. It's unclear if Noll will request an additional year of eligibility due to the injury.
