Continues strong play off bench Pettiford logged 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt), three assists and four steals across 21 minutes during Tuesday's 88-66 win over Mississippi State.
Impact Pettiford is just about everything you can ask for in a bench player. The freshman averages 11.3 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals on 45/42/92 shooting splits. He's now scored in double figures in four straight games, and was a nuisance on defense with four steals. Pettiford is quietly a huge piece for the Tigers.

Playing well off the bench Pettiford closed with 15 points (4-8 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 22 minutes during Sunday's 98-54 win over Richmond.
Impact Pettiford has yet to start a game for Auburn, but he's still averaging 11.3 points on a very efficient 44.9 percent from the field, including 42.6 percent from downtown. Pettiford has been an invaluable bench piece for the Tigers in his true freshman season.
