Sees dip in production Lipsey closed Saturday's 66-42 victory over Oklahoma State with 17 points (5-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, four assists and five steals over 30 minutes. Impact Lipsey has been a revelation this season for Iowa State as the only player in the country to average more than 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals, currently ranking second in the nation to FIU's Arturo Dean with 3.4 steals per game. As expected, the start of Big 12 play has brought about a greater challenge for Lipsey and his numbers have taken a hit, mainly due to a four-point effort against Oklahoma to open the conference slate. Since then, while his rebounding and assist totals have dipped slightly, he's picked things back up with 31 points over his last couple of games. Additionally, after beginning conference play with his first two games of the season with less than two thefts, Lipsey rebounded with a five-steal effort Saturday against Oklahoma State.
