Jaiden Delaire - Coming off bench TuesdayDelaire will come off the bench Tuesday against Tarleton State.

ImpactDelaire started in 21 of 24 appearances for the Cardinals in 2020-21, but he'll open this season off the bench. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27.3 minutes, so he still figures to be a significant part of Stanford's rotation.

Max Murrell - Starting openerMurrell is starting in Tuesday's season opener against Tarleton State.

ImpactMurrell will make his first career start for the Cardinal after appearing in 21 games off the bench as a freshman last season. The 6-9 forward averaged just 2.3 points and 0.9 rebounds in eight minutes per contest but has an appealing opportunity to significantly improve those numbers in a starting role to kick off the new campaign.
