Impact Lovan, who has started in UAB's last eight games, is set to come off the bench on Saturday. The 6-foot-4 senior has appeared in 24 games this season (nine starts), averaging 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.8 steals on 16.5 minutes per game. Lovan is likely to be restricted to a smaller role off the bench.

Starting Thursday Lovan (ankle) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against UTEP, Evan Dudley of AL.com reports.
Impact Lovan suffered an ankle injury Dec. 18 in the loss to West Virginia and had to be helped off the floor. He had to miss the next game as a result but will return to action Thursday night. The 6-4 junior has rotated in and out of the starting lineup throughout the season and is averaging 7.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 19.2 minutes per game.

Dealing with ankle injury Lovan was helped off the court in Saturday's loss to West Virginia, Joseph Goodman of AL.com reports.
Impact Reports seem to indicate that it was an ankle injury that Lovan suffered. He was unable to suit up for Wednesday's game. We'll have to wait and see if Lovan can get healthy during the holiday break and suit up next Thursday against UTEP.
