Mike Miles - Season-high 33 points in shootout Miles finished with 33 points (12-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-9 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 88-87 victory over Baylor. Impact Miles had his best scoring and all-around performance on the biggest stage against No. 19 Baylor. The junior shooting guard also came through with TCU down 87-83 in the final minute, taking the ball the length of the court on back-to-back possessions for a three-pointer from the left wing followed by a running assist to forward Chuck O'Bannon in the corner. Miles also took 21 of the team's 68 field-goal attempts and exactly half of the Horned Frogs' shots from beyond the arc. Miles is now second in the Big 12 in points per game with 19.9, converting 52.9 percent of his 12.5 field-goal attempts across 11 contests. He should continue to be a lock for double-digit points per game as 13-1 TCU works its way through Big 12 play. However, he should face one of his tougher tests Saturday versus the defensive-minded Iowa State Cyclones.
