ImpactLampkin fell just short of his second double-double of the season as he once again led the Horned Frogs in rebounds Wednesday. The 6-foot-11 sophomore also took his second-most field-goal attempts in a game this season during this back-and-forth affair. Over 13 games, Lampkin has averaged 7.6 points and 7.5 rebounds, making him TCU's most likely candidate to notch subsequent double-doubles moving forward.

Mike Miles - Season-high 33 points in shootoutMiles finished with 33 points (12-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-9 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 88-87 victory over Baylor.
ImpactMiles had his best scoring and all-around performance on the biggest stage against No. 19 Baylor. The junior shooting guard also came through with TCU down 87-83 in the final minute, taking the ball the length of the court on back-to-back possessions for a three-pointer from the left wing followed by a running assist to forward Chuck O'Bannon in the corner. Miles also took 21 of the team's 68 field-goal attempts and exactly half of the Horned Frogs' shots from beyond the arc. Miles is now second in the Big 12 in points per game with 19.9, converting 52.9 percent of his 12.5 field-goal attempts across 11 contests. He should continue to be a lock for double-digit points per game as 13-1 TCU works its way through Big 12 play. However, he should face one of his tougher tests Saturday versus the defensive-minded Iowa State Cyclones.

ImpactGeorge put the Big 12 on notice with this season-high-scoring performance. The 6-foot-4 true freshman's relatively high shooting efficiency combined with a season high in three-throw attempts netted him the game's second-most points behind TCU guard Mike Miles (33). George had a chance to cap off this career night with a driving layup attempt at the rim with one second remaining, but this would-be game-winner was blocked from behind by Horned Frogs forward Xavier Cork. Nevertheless, the team's decision to put the ball in his hands at the end of the game is a testament to George's role as the top scorer. George has now averaged 16.4 points on a team-high 13.2 field-goal attempts per game, and he'll continue to carry a heavy burden alongside senior Adam Flagler and junior LJ Cryer.

ImpactCryer logged double-digit points for the eighth time this season after missing the previous two games with a concussion. However, this was largely due to his season high in three-throw attempts, as he was rather inefficient from both behind the three-point line and from the floor overall. Cryer does rank second on the team in field-goal attempts with 12.1 per game, though he's third in scoring (14.7) behind backcourt-mates Adam Flagler (16.2) and Keyonte George (16.4). These three should continue to carry Baylor's primary scoring duties as the team progresses through Big 12 play.
