He started the season averaging 21.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.0 three-pointers over the first seven games before suffering a fractured left foot. It's been a long road to recovery, but it appears Battle is back to 100 percent entering 2022-23. Temple will tip things off in the regular season on Nov. 7 against Wagner.

Impact Dezonie is headed to Temple after announcing his decommitment from Saint Joseph's in May. The 6-foot-5 guard appeared in 35 games his freshman season with Vanderbilt, averaging 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11.0 minutes off the bench. Dezonie is a former four star recruit entering his sophomore season with three years of eligibility remaining.
