Facing lengthy absence Tolbert isn't expected to be available anytime soon due to a knee injury, 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Tolbert transferred in from Southeast Missouri State this offseason but will have to wait for a chance to make his debut with the Owls. Tolbert averaged 9.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as a sophomore last season and will have two or three seasons of eligibility remaining when he's cleared for action.

Impact Dunn only appeared in one game for the Owls last season, but he'll be part of the starting five for Saturday's season opener. He should be healthy for Temple going forward.

Set to make his debut Strickland (shoulder) is all but ready to make his Owls' debut Saturday against NJIT.

Impact Strickland underwent a surgical procedure on his shoulder in late August and has been steadily recovering since. The sophomore guard had to sit out all last season in compliance with the NCAA transfer rules after transferring to the Owls from Wisconsin and appears ready to make his first career appearance with the program. Strickland got very limited minutes in his lone season with the Badgers but is expected to handle a much larger role with Temple.

Impact Battle's absence isn't expected to be a long one, so he should provide some depth in the backcourt again when available. The Owls will be down some depth in the backcourt for their late start to the 2020-21 campaign but should be able to take care of business.

Impact Barry joined the Owls as a graduate transfer in November, and he was participating in pregame warmups ahead of Saturday's season opener. The 6-foot-2 guard should make his season debut against NJIT, and he should be available going forward.

Impact Battle joined the Owls in April after transferring from Butler, and he'll be able to contribute for his new team immediately, beginning with Saturday's season opener against Virginia Tech. The sophomore played a minimal role for Butler last year but should take on a more prominent role for Temple.
