ImpactSpringer did a little bit of everything in Saturday's effort but unfortunately it wasn't enough to secure a victory. The 6-4 freshman has now had back-to-back 20-point outings as he's averaged 16.6 points and 4.2 rebounds over his last nine games since he re-entered the starting lineup back on Jan. 30.

Leads team to upset victoryFlanigan had 23 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3PT, 7-11 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and a steal in 36 minutes during Saturday's 77-72 win over Tennessee.
ImpactFlanigan had a great bounceback performance after he failed to hit a shot and registered just six points in a loss to Florida on Feb. 23. The 6-6 sophomore stepped up big in the absence of Sharife Cooper (ankle) and topped 20 points for the fifth time this year. Flanigan upped his scoring average to 14.2 points to go along with 5.4 rebounds and three assists in 30.4 minutes per game as he continues to be one of the Tigers' most consistent offensive contributors.

Making progressPowell (concussion) was spotted on the bench in Saturday's 77-72 victory over Tennessee, Giana Han of AL.com reports.
ImpactPowell was able to return to lifting weights just over a week ago, but has yet to resume practicing with the team in an official capacity. The big story here is that the freshman was able to to deal with the lights and noise of a basketball arena for the first time in 56 days. Time may be running out for a return, however, as Auburn has just two more regular season games on the schedule and will be foregoing postseason play this season.
