Chinyelu has actually increased his scoring average from last season at Washington State, but it's the 7.3 rpg average that the Gators rely on with plenty of other offensive options in the lineup.

ImpactTennessee needed its big man in a tough road SEC matchup, and while both Okpara and froncourt mate Igor Milicic logged seven rebounds apiece, it wasn't enough to stop the Gators from out-performing the Vols on the glass by a margin of 55 to 38. Opposing big men Rueben Chinyelu and Alex Condon logged 15 and 12 rebounds, respectively, in what turned out to be a lopsided road loss for the No. 1-ranked Tennessee team. Individually, Okpara did record three blocks in the contest, and his role this season has been on par with his 2023-24 campaign with Ohio State -- a defensive-first center who starts, but rarely sees heavy minutes.

Chalk this one up as an anomaly for the point guard of the nation's No. 1-ranked team, but note that the going is about to get tougher with several Final Four contenders lurking in the SEC. It was not only on a night when leading scorer Walter Clayton was limited by foul trouble, but it happened to be against one of the top defenses in the country. Don't look to Aberdeen for consistent fantasy production moving forward, but there's certainly enough here to provide some real-life spark when needed.
