ImpactThe senior has recorded a double-double in back-to-back performances for Mississippi State. In his last two games he is averaging 15.5 points and 10 rebounds. Smith also led the starters in scoring Tuesday and currently leads the Bulldogs in scoring on the season with 13.8 points per game.

The 6-foot-6 senior has slowly worked his way back into a starting role for the Volunteers after missing four games in December with a knee injury. The Volunteers were short starters Santiago Vescovi and Tyreke Key for the contest so it remains to be seen how large of a role James will handle moving forward.
