Jordan Pope - Big day not enough Pope ended with 21 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and four rebounds across 26 minutes during Saturday's 76-72 loss to Oklahoma. Impact Pope led the Longhorns in scoring in what was one of his better individual days of conference play, but Texas still fell short in a game it desperately needed to help its NCAA Tournament status. Despite Saturday's performance, Pope has hit a bit of an offensive lull down the stretch, as this was just his third game in double figures in the team's last 14 contests. The junior does have outings of 42 and 27 points on the year, so he's more than capable of big days here and there. He might need a few in next week's SEC tournament, as Texas likely need to string together multiple victories to have a chance at an at-large bid.
