Jordan Pope - Solid first outing off bench Pope racked up nine points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three assists and three steals over 20 minutes during Tuesday's 103-80 loss to Alabama.
Impact Pope was removed from Texas' starting five for the first time all season against Alabama, and he responded with a decent performance. He shot 40 percent from the field and dished out three assists as well, but the Longhorns ultimately got manhandled by the wagon that is Alabama. Even if Pope remains a bench player for Texas, expect him to continue to be a significant factor for the Longhorns.

Impact Kent has predictably seen his role decrease this season since transferring to Texas from Indiana State, but Tuesday night was a performance reminiscent of his mid-major days. The forward's shooting stroke was on point, as he shot 66 percent from the field and drained two triples with a nearly perfect performance at the line. HIs 25 minutes off the bench were also a season high, but ultimately, it wasn't enough to topple the mighty Crimson Tide.

Arthur Kaluma - Non-factor in loss Kaluma chipped in zero points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 11 minutes during Tuesday's 103-80 loss to Alabama.
Impact While Kaluma found himself in the starting lineup despite showing up as 'probable' on the injury report, he was far from his regular self in Tuesday's lopsided defeat. Texas managed to keep things closely on the back of Tre Johnson's scoring prowess, but the Tide pulled away late, and Kaluma's lack of contributions certainly didn't help prevent it. It was the first time all season Kaluma was held scoreless, making him a risky fantasy play heading into Saturday's showdown against Kentucky.

With five rebounds and five assists as well, Johnson continues to be a do-it-all star for the Longhorns in his freshman year. With Texas firmly on the bubble, Johnson will need to take over in February to push the Longhorns into the field of 58.
