Moussa Cisse - DNP vs. TexasCisse (ankle) did not play during the Cowboys' 56-46 loss Saturday versus Texas.
ImpactUnsurprisingly, Cisse sat out the Cowboys' second game of 2023. He has three days before they play their next matchup Tuesday at Kansas State.

Christian Bishop - 13 minutes in limited outingBishop (back) notched six points (2-5 FG, 2-3 FT) and three rebounds in 13 minutes during Saturday's 56-46 win over Oklahoma State.
ImpactBishop played his third-fewest minutes in a game this season after picking up a back contusion during Monday's loss to Kansas State. However, he was still able to collect three rebounds during this seemingly limited outing, and he's now averaged 3.3 boards and 6.5 points while playing a consistent role off the bench. It will be worth monitoring Bishop's minutes Wednesday against TCU for a better gauge of his availability moving forward.

Timmy Allen - 11 points SaturdayAllen ended with 11 points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and three steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 56-46 win over Oklahoma State.
ImpactAllen logged double-digit points for the sixth time in the last seven games, as he got the charity stripe for a season high in free-throw attempts. The senior forward also posted his most steals in a game this season during this defensive showdown. Through 15 games, Allen has played a career-low 25.7 minutes per game while sharing the frontcourt with senior center Dylan Disu (16.4) and ascending true freshman Dillon Mitchell (22.0). However, Allen's still first among this trio in points per game (10.1), and he should continue to serve as the Longhorns' third-leading scorer behind trio Marcus Carr (17.7) and Tyrese Hunter (11.6).

Dillon Mitchell - 12 boards in ugly winMitchell amassed four points (2-6 FG), 12 rebounds and three steals across 30 minutes during Saturday's 56-46 win over Oklahoma State.
ImpactMitchell had plenty of opportunities for rebounds in this rough shooting performance for both teams, as neither the Longhorns nor the Cowboys shot better than 31.5 percent from the floor Saturday. The 6-foot-8 freshman actually matched his career high for rebounds while playing his second-most minutes in a game this season. Mitchell now sits just behind senior forward Timmy Allen for Texas' lead in rebounds per game at 5.3 and 5.7, respectively. However, the freshman still ranks last among the team's starting five in points per game (7.7). It's possible Mitchell could have another strong opportunity to clean up the boards Tuesday against the Horned Frogs, who currently rank second-to-last in the Big 12 for field-goal percentage (45.5).
