Marcus Santos-Silva - Solid contributions in limited minutesSantos-Silva ended with seven points (3-3 FG, 1-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists and three blocks across 15 minutes during Tuesday's 77-64 victory over Texas.
ImpactSantos-Silva has done a really nice job accepting his role this season after being a regular starter for the last three years. Bryson Williams and Kevin Obanor have been a force in January, but Santos-Silva has been able to contribute in multiple categories in his 15-20 minutes he gets a night. Texas Tech will square off with West Virginia on Saturday.

Kevin Obanor - Drains five triples in winObanor recorded 17 points (5-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and five rebounds across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 77-64 victory over Texas.
ImpactObanor's five three-pointers were a season high for the Oral Roberts transfer. He and Bryson Williams are forming a really strong frontcourt duo as of late. Obanor is putting up 16.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.6 three-pointers per contest over the last five games. He will look to keep things rolling on Saturday at West Virginia.

Bryson Williams - Another good showing against TexasWilliams amassed 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt), four rebounds, one block and one steal over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 77-64 victory over Texas.
ImpactWilliams has been on a roll in January. Over the last nine games, the UTEP transfer is putting up 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.6 three-pointers per contest. Williams is also shooting 58 percent from the field and 54 percent from behind the arc during that stretch. He will look to help Texas Tech stay in the Big 12 race on the road in Morgantown Saturday.

Kevin McCullar - Leads all scorers in big winMcCullar totaled 19 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 12-15 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 77-64 win over Texas.
ImpactMcCullar led all scorers in what was a great performance for the Red Raiders in Chris Beard's homecoming. This was actually the first time McCullar had scored in double figures since Jan. 11 against Baylor. The do-it-all junior is now putting up 10.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.1 three-pointers per contest this season.

Christian Bishop - Nears double-double in lossBishop accumulated 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and one steal over 17 minutes during Tuesday's 77-64 loss to Texas Tech.
ImpactAfter starting the season primarily coming off the bench, Bishop has now started nine of the last 11 games. During that stretch he is averaging 5.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per contest. Texas has a lot of bodies in the frontcourt this season, which does limit some of Bishop's upside. Iowa State will be next up on Saturday.

Marcus Carr - 16 points in loss to TTUCarr provided 16 points (4-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 77-64 loss to Texas Tech.
ImpactCarr had a much better showing than last Saturday's slugfest against Tennessee in which he scored just three points in 34 minutes. Unfortunately for Texas it still wasn't enough to get a road win. Over the last six games, however, Carr is putting up 14.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers per contest. The Longhorns will take on Iowa State at home on Saturday.
