JT Toppin - Ill during gameToppin was physically ill during Texas Tech's win Tuesday at Kansas State, according to Nathan Giese of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
ImpactTexas Tech's head coach Grant McCasland spoke to reporters about Toppin after the game. "Just being blunt, JT Toppin's not feeling great. Not doing good today and he wasn't feeling in the Iowa State game in the second half either. He tried to gut it out and play but he wasn't 100%," McCasland said. That could explain why Toppin was limited to 15 minutes Tuesday, when he logged six points (3-7 FG, 0-1 FT) and four rebounds. So now, Toppin's availability status is a question as the Red Raiders prepare for Arizona on Saturday.
