However, N'Guessan did return from his six-game absence to log four minutes off the bench during Saturday's contest, so he could be in line to reprise a starting role Tuesday against Iowa State.

ImpactMassoud finished in double figures for the third time this season and the second in the last five games. The 6-foot-9 forward has stepped back into a smaller role during his second season with Kansas State, going from 24.3 minutes per game in 2021-22 to 14.7 in 2022-23. Massoud has seen slightly more playing and production over the team's first seven Big 12 games, though this could be curtailed after previous starting forward David N'Guessan, who missed the previous six games with a foot injury, returned to play four minutes off the bench Saturday.

The 5-foot-8 point guard also grabbed a season-high eight rebounds. Nowell found a way to get back to the charity stripe again, as he'd attempted just five over the past three contests after putting up 12.7 per game through Kansas State's first three Big 12 matchups. Whether he's getting to the line or not, Nowell's 11.5 field-goal attempts combined with his team-leading 6.2 three-point tries per game should continue to net him prolific scoring to go along with his 8.2 assists per contest, which ranks second in the nation.

ImpactHarmon posted his second-most three-point attempts and overall field-goal tries of any game this season. While he didn't match this increased role with his usual scoring efficiency (45.2), he still finished right along his average stat line for the season (12.1-2.8-3.5-2.1). Harmon is still struggling as a shooter from beyond the arc, but his 9.8 field-goal attempts and 3.9 free-throw tries per game make him a sure thing to score in double figures just about every time.
