Abayomi Iyiola - Logs seventh start SaturdayIyiola closed Saturday's 68-58 victory over Texas Tech with seven points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block over 18 minutes.
ImpactIyiola started his seventh game in a row for the Wildcats. The 6-foot-10 senior has filled since David N'Guessan picked up a foot injury in late December. However, N'Guessan did return from his six-game absence to log four minutes off the bench during Saturday's contest, so he could be in line to reprise a starting role Tuesday against Iowa State.

Ismael Massoud - Chips in 12 points off the benchMassoud ended Saturday's 68-58 victory over Texas Tech with 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block over 22 minutes.
ImpactMassoud finished in double figures for the third time this season and the second in the last five games. The 6-foot-9 forward has stepped back into a smaller role during his second season with Kansas State, going from 24.3 minutes per game in 2021-22 to 14.7 in 2022-23. Massoud has seen slightly more playing and production over the team's first seven Big 12 games, though this could be curtailed after previous starting forward David N'Guessan, who missed the previous six games with a foot injury, returned to play four minutes off the bench Saturday.

David N'Guessan - Four minutes as backupN'Guessan (foot) racked up zero points (0-2 FT) in four minutes during Saturday's 68-58 victory over Texas Tech.
ImpactN'Guessan sat out six games the Wildcats played in between Dec. 30 and Jan. 18. Sooner than later, he is expected to be part of their starting lineup again.

Markquis Nowell - Game-high 23 pointsNowell produced 23 points (5-12 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 9-10 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Saturday's 68-58 win over Texas Tech.
ImpactNowell led all scorers during this relatively quiet scoring performance for Wildcats forward Keyontae Johnson (3-7 FG, 1-1 3FG, 8-10 FT). The 5-foot-8 point guard also grabbed a season-high eight rebounds. Nowell found a way to get back to the charity stripe again, as he'd attempted just five over the past three contests after putting up 12.7 per game through Kansas State's first three Big 12 matchups. Whether he's getting to the line or not, Nowell's 11.5 field-goal attempts combined with his team-leading 6.2 three-point tries per game should continue to net him prolific scoring to go along with his 8.2 assists per contest, which ranks second in the nation.
JANUARY 22, 2023ROTOWIRE
De'Vion Harmon - Significant usage in lossHarmon totaled 13 points (5-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals over 29 minutes during Saturday's 68-58 loss to Kansas State.
ImpactHarmon posted his second-most three-point attempts and overall field-goal tries of any game this season. While he didn't match this increased role with his usual scoring efficiency (45.2), he still finished right along his average stat line for the season (12.1-2.8-3.5-2.1). Harmon is still struggling as a shooter from beyond the arc, but his 9.8 field-goal attempts and 3.9 free-throw tries per game make him a sure thing to score in double figures just about every time.
