Rhode Island takes on Providence

Rhode Island and Providence both look to put winning streaks together
DECEMBER 2, 2021•ASSOCIATED PRESS
Kevin McCullar - Scores 10 before fouling outMcCullar supplied 10 points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two steals in 26 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 72-68 loss to Providence.
ImpactMcCullar was forced to miss consecutive games due to an illness, but returned the starting lineup Wednesday and managed to reach double figures before foul trouble forced an early exit. He remains the second-leading scorer for the Red Raiders on a per-game basis at 14.2 and should continue as a primary offensive option, even after the return of Terrence Shannon.

Brycen Goodine - Limited in returnGoodine recorded zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound over three minutes during Wednesday's 72-68 victory over Texas Tech.
ImpactGoodine returned after missing Saturday's game due to illness, but he matched his season-low total in minutes and was held scoreless for the fourth time this year. While Goodine is technically in the rotation, he's not seeing enough minutes in close games to be on the fantasy radar just yet.

Justin Minaya - 28 bench minutes in returnMinaya notched six points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 72-68 victory over Texas Tech.
ImpactMinaya had worked his way into the starting lineup for two games before a non-COVID illness forced him to sit out last Saturday, but he was back in action Wednesday as expected. The senior's output wasn't the greatest, but he still saw more minutes than any other reserve, as well as three Providence starters. He'll continue in his quest to regain a starting spot Saturday against Rhode Island.

Davion Warren - Struggles shooting in lossWarren accumulated eight points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 72-68 loss to Providence.
ImpactWarren certainly did not have his best shooting night. He has still started every game and is averaging 12.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest. The Hampton transfer has the ability to score easily and efficiently. Warren should continue to do that even while receiving under 25 minutes per game.
DECEMBER 2, 2021•ROTOWIRE
Adonis Arms - Season-high 28 minutesArms supplied six points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 72-68 loss to Providence.
ImpactArms played quite a bit in this one, breaking his previous season high of 22 minutes. He is now averaging 7.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 three-pointers per contest. Arms looks like the best backcourt option off the bench the Red Raiders have at the moment.
DECEMBER 2, 2021•ROTOWIRE
Terrence Shannon - Team-high 17 points in lossShannon produced 17 points (6-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes during Wednesday's 72-68 loss to Providence.
ImpactShannon has now scored at least 15 points in all four of his games this season. He is averaging 16.5 points, 2.8 three-pointers, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Expect all of those to continue to be on the rise as Shannon looks to solidify himself as a first round draft pick next year.
