ImpactMitchell logged almost twice as many rebounds as the Mountaineers' next-closest player Mohamed Wague, the latter of whom logged five boards in five minutes off the bench. This also marked the starting forward's second-most rebounds of any game this season. However, this strong showing didn't help West Virginia from being outrebounded 39-28 during Saturday's defeat. Mitchell has now averaged 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds while playing 28.7 minutes per game this season.

However, the 6-foot-4 three-point specialist was able to snap this rough stretch his second-most prolific scoring performance of the season. Stevenson has led the Mountaineers with 14.3 points per game this season. He'll look to string together consistent shooting performances when West Virginia welcomes Oklahoma State to Morgantown on Monday night.

Tyson has been one of the Red Raiders' most productive players this season with 10.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, and he's averaged 16.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game across his past five outings. He's also outperformed team-leading scorer Kevin Obanor over this span, as the latter has posted 10.8 points and 5.8 boards per contest during that stretch. Tyson will look to keep up this increased production across the team's final four regular-season games, starting with Tuesday's road game versus Oklahoma.

ImpactTexas Tech finally has its coveted transfer center at full strength, and the timing couldn't have been better, with former starting center Daniel Batcho now having missed three consecutive games with a lower-body injury. Aimaq has only played six games for the Red Raiders this season, but they've been productive, with averages of 9.7 points and 6.8 rebounds. Saturday was likely the first of many double-doubles for Aimaq as Texas Tech looks to make a late-season run.
