Jesse Edwards - Shoots 80% from floorEdwards contributed 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 81-70 loss to Texas Tech.
ImpactEdwards matched a season-high by shooting 80.0%, leading the Mountaineers in both scoring and on the glass. Edwards has played very well since returning to the starting lineup on Jan. 31 but was coming off a lackluster outing last weekend when he fouled out while shooting a season-worst 1-for-9 from the field. Over his last nine starts, Edwards is averaging 14.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.
