Impact Allen tied for a game high in points and had the solo hold of the game high in rebounds with eight. The Utah transfer has fit in nicely early in the season, averaging 13.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per contest. Texas will face Sam Houston State on Monday next.

Impact Allen and Tre Mitchell looked solid in the front court together, combining for 26 points and 15 boards. Texas has a very large rotation at the moment and likely will continue to do so when playing inferior opponents in non-conference play. Allen has started all three games and is averaging 12.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists.

Impact Allen appears to have secured a starting spot with his new team, and while the competition level here wasn't great, his efficiency appeared to already be in mid-season form. He's an incredibly capable scorer and rebounder that now has far more talent surrounding him than any other collegiate season.
