Propels Duke with 25 Keels had a game-high 25 points (10-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three steals and two assists across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 79-71 victory over Kentucky.
Impact With much of the spotlight on teammate Paolo Banchero -- who also chipped in 22 -- Keels arguably stole the show. He has a large, linebacker-like frame for a shooting guard that helps him score around the rim, and he even occasionally takes the ball up the court. On the defensive end, he held a five-star prospect in Tyty Washington in check. It's only one game, but the freshman's stock is already skyrocketing.

12 points in exhibition start Keels started and logged 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt), four assists and two rebounds across 20 minutes in Saturday's 106-38 exhibition victory over Winston-Salem State.
Impact Keels is a five-star prospect with NBA aspirations, so it's no surprise to see him get the starting nod early, especially as A.J. Griffin works his way back from a sprained knee. The job could very well be Keels' for good, as he fills a three-point shooting void -- an area Duke has struggled with in recent years. Keels attempted more shots from distance as any Duke starter, but that doesn't mean the 6-5 guard isn't capable of getting to the rack as well. With Griffin now healthy, coach Mike Krzyzewski has young, but physical, wing depth capable of shining on both ends of the court.
