Medically retires from basketball Clark announced via Twitter that he is medically retiring from basketball on Tuesday. Impact Clark was a beast in the 2018-19 season before a knee injury cut his season short. He was able to return at the beginning of last season, but you could tell he just didn't look the same. Clark was projected to take over as the starting center with Freddie Gillespie now gone, but the senior ultimately decided his body just wasn't going to let him do it. Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua, Matthew Mayer, and Flo Thamba should all see an uptick in minutes and production this season on what is projected to be one of the top-three teams in college basketball this season.
