Cumberland native, George Mason transfer Tyler Kolek commits to Marquette Tyler Kolek was the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year in 2020-21. Now he moves to the Big East.
19 points in second straight Kolek had 19 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, a steal, block and assist Wednesday against Massachusetts.
Impact Kolek was slightly aided by the close, overtime contest, but he's now pumped in 19 points in consecutive games. He's hoisting 3s at a high clip, and when they fall, he's going to score plenty. The 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals he's currently averaging aren't particularly useful for fantasy purposes, but Kolek is just a freshman. His better days are clearly ahead.
