11 points off bench in win Perkins closed Wednesday's 67-55 win over Seton Hall with 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and three steals across 27 minutes.

Impact Perkins was a necessary spark off the bench in the win over the Pirates, dropping a seven-game scoring high and outscoring three of the Wildcats' starters. The also was a monster on the defensive side of the ball, amassing three steals which tied his season high. He'll be relied on heavily as the sixth-man once again against UConn in the next round of the conference tournament.

Huge 20 points in win over Xavier Perkins posted 20 points (7-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two steals in 26 minutes during Sunday's 80-68 victory over Xavier.

Impact Perkins produced a season-high scoring performance against the Musketeers, and tied his campaign-best of four shots landing beyond the arc. The sophomore guard also added on two steals in the outing, so he now totals 12 steals in his last six matchups. He doesn't look poised to snag a starting spot at this point in the season, but he's been given meaningful minutes so far this season and should continue to be a big impact for the Wildcats moving forward.

Leaving Penn after one year Perkins will enter the transfer portal, Rivals reports.

Impact Perkins had a great freshman campaign with Penn in which he averaged 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.4 steals per contest. The 6-4 guard is sure to attract some interest in the portal from teams in more high profile conferences that think they can tap into Perkins' long-term potential.
