Jordan Ivy-Curry - Finds stroke from long range Ivy-Curry racked up 22 points (6-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 100-94 victory over Florida Atlantic.

Impact Ivy-Curry drained four threes on his way to 22 points while also contributing a smattering of production in the ancillary statistics. He started the season shooting just 2-for-13 from downtown through two games but found his stroke in converting of half of his eight shots from behind the arc Tuesday. The senior guard has improved his scoring in each of his first three games, averaging 18.7 points across 34.3 minutes per game while throwing in 2.7 boards, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steals. He played last season at Texas-San Antonio and has proven thus far to be a major pickup for UCF.

Impact Williams produced 17 points and seven boards in just 22 minutes off the bench to help spark the Golden Knights. Williams entered the portal after being dismissed from Syracuse and has taken advantage of his new opportunity by contributing 25 points and 13 boards while shooting 11-for-16 (68.8%) across an average of 18.5 minutes over the last two games.

Mikey Williams - Sitting again Tuesday Williams (foot) remains out for Tuesday's game versus FAU, Matt Murschel of the Orlando Sentinel & Tribune reports.

Impact Williams has yet to appear for the Knights in 2024, and the freshman will have to wait at least another week to debut. It's unclear exactly how severe the foot issue is for the true freshman, but he'll get another chance to play next Tuesday versus Tennessee Tech.

Jaylin Sellers - Remains out for UCF Sellers (back) won't play Tuesday night against Florida Atlantic, Matt reports.

Impact Sellers hasn't played yet this season. The guard, who averaged 15.9 points across 32 starts last season, should be a major factor for the Knights when he returns. His earliest chance to do so, however, will come on Nov. 19 against Tennessee Tech.

Moustapha Thiam - Contributing early Thiam produced 13 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one block across 26 minutes during Friday's 75-68 victory over Purdue Fort Wayne.

Impact Thiam posted his first double-digit scoring effort in just his second career game. The 7'2" freshman posted 13 points after having struggled offensively in his first game against Texas A&M though he was able to make his presence known defensively in that contest, redirecting six Aggie shots on the evening. Thiam has earned the starting center role early in the season for the Golden Knights and has already proven that he can impact the game on both ends of the court through his first two games.

Keyshawn Hall - First double-double of season Hall provided 14 points (3-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 75-68 win over Purdue Fort Wayne.

Impact After fouling out in just 23 minutes against Texas A&M on Monday, Hall stayed out of foul trouble and managed to see 33 minutes of court time Friday. It wasn't his best night from the field, missing nine of 12 shots, but his aggressiveness underneath led to 12 boards and nine trips to the line, which helped spur his first double-double as a member of the Golden Knights after having posted nine such performances last season with George Mason. Hall is expected to play a key role in the front court this season for UCF, especially if he can consistently stay out of foul trouble.

Impact Williams will miss a second consecutive contest due to a lingering foot issue, though he wouldn't be expected to see a large role even if healthy. His next chance to play will come against Florida Atlantic on Tuesday.

Impact Ivy-Curry proved he belongs on the bigger stage after transferring to UCF from Texas-San Antonio during the off-season. He finished second on the team in scoring behind Darius Johnson and paced the team on the glass while nearly matching his averages of 17 and five from last season. Ivy-Curry is expected to be a key contributor this season for UCF as they attempt to make a run at an NCAA tournament for the first time since 2019.

Darius Johnson - Shines in opening night victory Johnson finished with 24 points (6-13 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, five assists and three steals over 38 minutes during Monday's 64-61 win over Texas A&M.

Impact Johnson scored 20 or more seven times last year and begins this season with a similar effort, posting 24 points on just 13 shots from the floor. Johnson shot nearly 40% from three last season after not having topped 30% in each of his first two seasons and he continued that trend in his initial effort of this campaign, draining five from behind the arc at a 45.5% clip. Johnson also stuffed the stat sheet, pacing the team in assists and steals while also contributing a few boards. The ancillary numbers produced Monday are in line with what he's produced the last two seasons. His scoring rose more than five points per game between his sophomore and junior seasons, which means if he sees another scoring spike this season, that could put him in the 18-20 points range which would leave him as one of the most valuable and productive guards in the country.

Impact Johnson started his career last season at Pittsburgh, but took a redshirt after being issued a suspension and left the team in August of 2023. He's now looking to get a fresh start with the Knights, and while he's healthy enough to suit up, he doesn't yet appear to be in line for significant minutes at the onset of the season.

Impact Williams' latest update is not a positive one. With less than a day before Central Florida's season opener, Leonard reported that the freshman is using a walking boot, indicating some type of foot injury may be bothering him. So as a result, Williams' availability is not ensured as the Golden Knights prepare for their Monday game against Texas A&M.

Impact Previously undisclosed for a while, Sellers' injury is a back problem that will make him questionable for Central Florida's season opener. While not the most promising of status updates, the fact that Sellers could be available Monday is welcome news enough, considering first reports of his injury made it seem like he would be out a while.

To compensate, the Golden Knights moved Keyshawn Hall to their three and also started Benny Williams. Next for them is the regular season, beginning with a home matchup against Texas A&M on Monday.

Williams' debut season was pushed back due to gun charges, which resulted in him entering the NCAA's transfer portal and transferring to UCF from Memphis. Though him getting a lock in Central Florida's rotation is far from secure, he may have at least a better chance now than before if Jaylin Sellers (undisclosed) must sit out some time because of his recent injury.
